The investment case for Asia 2023

Asia accounts for half of the world’s population and almost half of its GDP. The region will grow by 5% in 2023, according to the International Monetary Fund, making it the fastest-growing region in the world. This is opening up greater investment opportunities and diversification for investors in Asia in 2023 and the years to come, as per Eastspring Investments.

“As Asia consists of both high-income and emerging economies, new growth drivers such as digitalisation, supply chain realignment, technological innovation and regional partnerships will play out differently across the region, creating exciting opportunities for investors,” writes Chief Investment Officer Bill Maldonado.

In a new expert series, the asset manager is looking at these growth drivers and opportunites: digitalisation, supply chain realignment, technological innovation, regional partnerships, sustainability.
