The reasons to invest in China now

There have been a lot of expectations around China’s reopening. So far, the spillover effects, for China as well as other Asian countries, are not that strong. However, a consumption recovery is on the way, savings are still high and will support a further recovery of the Chinese economy, says Elizabeth Kwik, Investment Director of Asian Equities, abrdn. She is optimistic about the second half of this year and gives the reasons to invest in China now in our video interview. While Kwik acknowledges that it has been a volatile few months for Chinese equities, she says the party is not over and points out where investors can find opportunities.
