Japanese Stocks: low valuations, high net cash

The Japanese stock market has gone through some ups and downs recently. After a sharp slump in March, Japanese stocks almost recovered fully. This recovery was a little quicker than expected, says Daisuke Nomoto, Head of Japanese Equities, Columbia Threadneedle. The extensive fiscal measures taken by the Japanese government play their part in supporting the economic recovery. And there are several reasons for investors to be optimistic about the future of Japanese equities, says Nomoto.
