ASEAN economies will recover strongly

For the ASEAN economies the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic is expected to be severe. In most of the countries trade and tourism are very important to economic activity – both being affected by the virus spread. However, with China leading recovery, ASEAN trade is picking up which is helpful, says Robert St. Clair, Strategist at Fullerton Fund Management. He sees Vietnam and Malaysia coping the best so far.
