The coronavirus pandemic has clearly an impact on profitability and valuations on Japanese companies. However, corporate Japan was pretty well placed coming into the crisis with strong balance sheets, says Sam Bentley, Client Portfolio Manager, Eastspring Investments. And Japan remains attractive with still a lot of valuation opportunities.
