Asia investment universe: more diversified

Despite the reset in the growth trajectory, Asia’s long-term investment attributes remain intact. This is the finding of Eastspring Investments Market Outlook for Asia 2023. The investment management firm identified old and new growth areas, amongst them the diversification of global supply chains out of China, bringing corresponding investment opportunities.

“Within ASEAN, countries that have been key beneficiaries of such migration include Vietnam and Indonesia. India is also starting to see the benefits of this move with the electronic manufacturing services and Electric Vehicle supply chain emerging as high growth areas,” writes the investment team.

Eastspring further talks about the opportunities within the Asian bonds segment.
